45-year-old woman reported near Vermont Square

Police Tuesday were searching for a missing 45-year- old woman who was last seen in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles.

Kimberly Lashanda Howse was last seen Sept. 28 in the 1500 block of West 51st Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Howse is Black, 5-feet-11 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. Calls made during non-business hours or on weekends can be directed to 877-527-3247.
