A suspicious package at a Swissport cargo facility at Los Angeles International Airport Tuesday prompted a brief evacuation while the item was examined, but airport operations were not affected.
The incident was cleared by about 7 a.m., according to LAX officials.
The facility in the 5700 block of West Imperial Highway was deemed safe after an inspection that involved a bomb squad response, according to KCAL9.
