A fire damaged a house in the Mar Vista area Thursday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 3600 block of South Meier Street about 1:35 p.m. extinguished the flames in 19 minutes, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The firefighters were faced by “excessive storage conditions” in the single-story building, Stewart said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
