Maintenance work this weekend will prompt the closure of part of the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach, authorities said Friday.
The closure will begin at 11:59 p.m. Saturday at Pacific Coast Highway, and will extend through 7 a.m. Sunday, according to Caltrans.
Several on-ramps to the southbound freeway will also be closed in the affected area, Caltrans reported.
During those hours, all traffic will diverted off of the southbound 710 Freeway at PCH, and detours will be posted at the closed ramps.
Caltrans will post updates on Twitter at @CaltransDist7 and at QuickMap.dot.ca.gov.
