Sheriff’s detectives Tuesday are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Lynwood as gang-related.

Deputies from Century Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were called just after 7:36 p.m. Monday to the 3200 block of Oakwood Avenue near the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway on reports of a shooting and found a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds, according to Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
