The city of Monrovia is inviting its neighbors and friends to come together at Monrovia Library Park — located on 321 S. Myrtle Ave. — Thursday, Nov. 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for the Thankful & Grateful Holiday Gathering.
The community event, which hasn’t taken place since November 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic, is a celebration that is designed to show the city’s gratitude to the people who make Monrovia special and rejoice in its diversity.
In addition, the Thankful & Grateful Holiday Gathering event is also meant to provide an opportunity to show the support of Monrovia’s community partners who are assisting the city’s population who is in need during this holiday season.
The free event will include a multitude of holiday-themed, family-oriented attractions, such as live entertainment, community booths, a truck petting zoo, hayrides, library story times, arts and crafts and much more.
Along with this, the city has also announced that there will be an undisclosed special guest who is assisting in the lighting of the Holiday Tree in Library Park that attendees will not want to miss.
