A portion of the Metro C (Green) Line will be closed starting at 9 p.m. Friday evening through Saturday for crews to connect the line with the future Crenshaw/LAX Line.
The C Line will not service Hawthorne/Lennox, Aviation/LAX, Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach stations through end of service Saturday at midnight. Service will begin again on Sunday morning.
The LAX G Shuttle will continue operations between Aviation/LAX Station and the airport between 5 a.m. and midnight during the closure, and Metro will provide a free bus shuttle to the out-of-service stations. The shuttles will run every 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and every 20 minutes all other times.
The Crenshaw/LAX Line will serve the Crenshaw, Inglewood, Westchester and LAX areas with eight new stations along an 8.5-mile light rail line.
