

A fire damaged a house in the Westlake area Monday and left one person with a burn injury, authorities said.
Firefighters sent to the 800 block of South Beacon Avenue at 8:03 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story building in 17 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The severity of the person’s injury was not immediately known.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
