Person killed in crash on northbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach

A person was killed Tuesday in a traffic crash on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 4 a.m. near Willow Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person, who died at the scene.
Two northbound lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
