A one-minute police pursuit of a car reported stolen led to a violent crash in Hollywood Tuesday morning that sent two suspects and at least one other driver to hospitals.
The pursuit started at 2:24 a.m. at Gower Street and Afton Avenue and ended less than a minute later with a crash at Sunset Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue, according to Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The vehicle involved in the pursuit was described as a gray Dodge Challenger, Lomeli said.
The Challenger crashed into two vehicles and the man behind the wheel and a female passenger refused to leave the vehicle, according to Fox11. The suspect fought with paramedics and police as they treated him and his passenger and prepared to take them to a hospital. Fox 11 also reported that the driver is suspected of driving under the influence.
There were no serious injuries, according to CBS2.
