

A Silver Alert is in effect Friday for an 85-year-old man last seen in Long Beach.
Calvin Lee was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. Thursday near Seventh Street and Alamitos Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol which issued the Silver Alert at the request of the Long Beach Police Department.
Lee is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be on foot wearing a blue and yellow T-shirt, red pants, red shoes and walking a black and white French bulldog.
Anyone seeing Lee is asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
