A man died after being stabbed multiple times in Santa Ana, and police Tuesday were investigating.
Officers were called at 7:50 p.m. Monday to South Main Street and East Dyer Road, where they found the victim with multiple stab wounds, said Commander Andy Alvarez of the Santa Ana Police Department.
“Shortly after our officers arrived, they detained a male who was walking way from the scene,” Alvarez told City News Service.
Alvarez said the investigation was still active, and it was unknown if the man who was detained is a suspect.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact the Santa Ana Police Department at 714-245-8665 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
