

Two people were rescued after their boat ran aground in Venice Beach Wednesday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Fire Department lifeguards received a report of the grounded vessel just after 4:35 p.m.
The lifeguards fished the uninjured occupants out of the water shortly afterward, and also brought a dog to safety.
