

A man was shot to death in Pomona, authorities said Monday.
Officers responded at 4:40 p.m. Sunday to a report of shots fired in the 2200 block of Las Vegas Avenue, according to Pomona police Sgt. Iain Miller.
“Upon arrival, the officers located a male adult down in a yard suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds,” Miller said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. He was identified only as a Pomona resident.
Information about suspects or motive was not available, Miller said.
