

A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured in a crash involving a car in South Los Angeles and was hospitalized Thursday, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 11:10 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Florence and Vermont avenues, according to the LAPD.
According to CBSLA, the location of the incident was declared a crime scene for an undisclosed reason.
The officer was hospitalized in stable condition, the LAPD reported. The driver of the car remained at the scene, and the crash was under investigation.
