

Two people were taken to a hospital Monday after being injured in a fire in an apartment building in La Puente.
The fire was reported at about 3:40 p.m. in two units at the building in the 900 block of North Willow Avenue, near Amar Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire was knocked down at about 5:05 p.m., though firefighters were still attempting to extinguish flames that had reached the building’s attic.
Two people were taken to a hospital with unknown injures. Their conditions were not released.
