A short-term full closure of Lone Hill Avenue in Glendora was announced today so crews can work on the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Glendora to Pomona.
The closure will begin on Monday at 7 p.m. and will continue through Friday at 7 a.m., authorities said.
Crews will be working at the Lone Hill Avenue railroad crossing to reconstruct the underground utilities, communication lines and track drainage, and to repave the work zones for new freight track installation.
Lone Hill Avenue will be closed between Auto Centre Drive and Glendora Marketplace.
