

Police are searching for a man who shot at a woman in her car in a road rage incident today in Bell Gardens.
Bell Gardens Police Department officers responded to the 7800 block of Garfield Avenue about 8:55 a.m. on reports of the road rage incident and contacted the woman who said a man in a newer-model white sedan produced a handgun and fired three to four shots at her, striking her car in the hood, rear passenger side door and quarter panel, according to a police statement.
The woman was not injured in the shooting.
The man fled the scene driving eastbound on Park Lane from Garfield Avenue. Anyone with information of the shooting or the suspect can contact Bell Gardens Police Department General Investigations Sgt. Benson at 562-806-7619 or the Bell Gardens Police Department Dispatch Center at 562-806-7600.
