

A new 300-pagebook by author Richard Singer tells the story of Monrovia in 1887 – as the townbecame the fourth city to be incorporated in Los Angeles County. Singer, whopreviously wrote “Renaissance Years: A History of Modern Monrovia,” draws factsand stories from newspapers and other direct sources, filling in details.
