May 24

At 7:49 a.m., an officer took a telephonic report of a vehicleburglary that occurred in the 1700 block of South Third Avenue. The victimdiscovered someone had smashed his front passenger window and stolen hiswallet, cash, and various credit and debit cards sometime between 2 and 7 a.m.on May 24.

At 1:58 p.m., an officer responded to the 1200 block of SouthGolden West Avenue regarding a possible stolen vehicle report. Pasadena PoliceDepartment had stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered itmay have been an un-reported stolen vehicle out of the City of Arcadia. Uponcontacting the registered owner, the officer discovered the vehicle had beenstolen and the owner was unaware. The suspect(s) were arrested by Pasadena PoliceDepartment and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

May 25

At 6:34 a.m., an officer took a telephonic report of a residentialburglary report that occurred in the 300 block of East Floral Avenue. Thevictim discovered a tool box containing miscellaneous tools and a box ofantique silverware had been stolen from her secured garage. There were no signsof damage to the lock or indicators of forced entry. There is no suspectinformation at the time of this report.

At 11:28 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 00 blockof East Rodell Place regarding a tampering report. The victim discovered hermail box lock had been broken and her mail was missing. There is no suspectinformation at this time.

May 26

At 8:39 a.m., an officer received a telephonic report of acommercial burglary that had occurred earlier in the morning at a dental officeat 118 Las Tunas Drive. Surveillance footage revealed a lone suspect, describedas a Hispanic male wearing dark clothing, was seen shattering the front glassdoor and entering the business. The victim discovered a computer and a Ringsurveillance camera were stolen.

At 9:46 a.m., an officer received a telephonic report of acommercial burglary that occurred at Ming Zhu Investments, located at 20 E.Foothill Blvd. Surveillance footage revealed two white male suspects enteredthe office and fled with coffee and a pair of shoes. The investigation ispending a review of the surveillance footage.

May 27

At 11:46 a.m., an officer took a report of a theft from vehiclethat occurred at Mama’s Kitchen, located at 153 E. Duarte Road. The victimstated she left her vehicle unlocked and one of the windows was halfway downwhile she went into the restaurant. When the victim returned home, shediscovered her backpack had been stolen. Her backpack contained her wallet,cash, and identifiable information. There is no suspect information at the timeof this report.

At 4:26 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 500 blockof South Fifth Avenue regarding a fraud report. The victim discovered theunknown suspect(s) opened fraudulent stock purchasing accounts overseas withouther permission then accessed her savings account and withdrew a large sum ofmoney. The victim does not know the identity of the suspect(s) or how theyobtained her personal information. There is no suspect information at thistime.

May 28

At 2:47 a.m., an officer responded to Neighborhood Music, locatedat 25 S. First Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. The reportingparty was skating by when he saw the front window had been smashed and heheard, what appeared to be, someone walking in the broken glass that had falleninside the business. The business owner responded and confirmed that one guitarhad been stolen. The investigation is pending a review of the surveillancefootage.

At 11:30 a.m., an officer responded to CVS, located at 1401 S.Baldwin Ave., regarding a theft investigation. Surveillance footage revealedthree male suspects stole more than $4,600 worth of cosmetics from the store.All three suspects are described as males of an unknown ethnicity,approximately 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, and all were seen wearing dark coloredclothing. The investigation is ongoing.

May 29

At 8:43 a.m., an officer received a telephonic report of a vehicleburglary that occurred at ServPro of Monrovia, located at 11631 Clark St. Aninvestigation revealed the suspect(s) forcibly broke into a company box trailerthat was parked behind the location. The investigation is pending a review oftheir surveillance footage.

At 1:11 p.m., an officer responded to Arcadia 210 Self Storage,located at 324 N. Second Ave., regarding a theft from vehicle report. The victimleft his vehicle unlocked with the windows down while he entered the storagefacility. Upon returning, he discovered his cellphone had been stolen. There isno suspect information at this time.

May 30

At 11:30 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 2500block of Woodruff Way regarding a vandalism report. Sometime between 5 p.m. onMay 27 and 9 a.m. on May 28, an unknown suspect cut the victim’s tire with anunknown tool. There is no suspect information at this time.

At 3:06 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 600 blockof West Huntington Drive regarding a vandalism report. The victim discoveredsomeone had used an unknown item to scratch the hood and passenger side of hisvehicle. The incident occurred sometime between May 26 at 6 a.m. and May 28 at6 a.m. There is no suspect information at the time of this report.
