Santa Anita Canyon Road, Chantry Flats Closed

In the wakeof excessive exuberance over Memorial Day, areas such as Chantry and EatonCanyon hiking trails now remain closed again in the ongoing effort to keep thepublic from breaking social distancing rules.

The U.SForest Service has shut down the Chantry Flats Recreation Area due to theFederal furlough. It will remain closed until further notice and the gatesleading up to Chantry Flats will remain locked.

Bailey Canyon and Mount Wilson Trail will remain open for the time being unless shut for high fire danger.
