

The City of Monrovia is working to reopen Canyon Park, which willremain closed until May 26, while implementing health guidelines to keep park goerssafe.
According to City Manager Dylan Feik, “developing a safe, socialdistancing protocol is difficult considering the narrow trail widths, excessivevisitors and parking challenges.”
To visit Canyon Park, visitors will be required to makereservations through an online system, which the city will elaborate on “shortly.”Both residents and non-residents will be able to make reservations but therewill be a limit on the number of visitors to prevent large crowds from gathering.
