Foothill Unity Center has been helping those who need a hand in the community for more than 40 years. They are continuing their efforts in this time of quarantine. They do, however need help from those who can give in the community. To that end, they have prepared a wish list of what they need most and a list of the services they provide.
Topping thewish list is monetary donations as the center can make your dollars go furtherat the regional food bank, but there are other things they can use as well. Hereis a brief list:
If you can help with any of these items, please do so. Any such donations can be taken to either the Monrovia location (790 W. Chestnut Ave., Monrovia) or in Pasadena (191 N. Oak Ave., Pasadena).
Both officesare remaining open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone oremail. Food distribution is being done on a drive- or walk-through basisonly from the parking lot. In Monrovia they are done on Mondays from 1 to3:30 p.m. and on Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The Pasadenaschedule is Tuesdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday and Friday from 1 to3:30 p.m.
