

On Friday, Monrovia Unified’s Special Education Departmentlaunched a new Parent Support Learning Platform. The platform includes academic resources and enrichmentopportunities, and support services that include adapted physical education,occupational therapy, speech and language, and behavioral support.
The Special Education Department will continue working to provide resources to Monroviastudents and parents.
The district will also continue its grab-and-go meal distribution. To date, Monrovia Unified has served over 26,000 meals to students. Additionally, Monrovia Unified offers counseling assistance, including a 24-hour virtual mental health support resource center through its partnership with Care Solace to assist students who are having trouble coping.
There is also a Calm Resource Page in our Parent Support Learning Platform that includes a variety of activities that students and parents can access to spend some time winding down after a day of learning.
