

Although there are no confirmed cases in Monrovia, the city continues to prepare for COVID-19. On Monday, the Los Angeles County Department of Health (DPH) confirmed two additional cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), totaling 16 cases in Los Angeles County. Additionally, DPH announced that all confirmed cases are being isolated and close contacts will be quarantined. It has also been confirmed that community transmission of the virus has occurred in Los Angeles County.
As more information circulates, the city remindsthe community to be mindful of the sources of information. To provide communitymembers with the most current and accurate information on COVID-19, the City ofMonrovia has published a COVID-19 webpage with facts, safety precautions andthe city’s response plan. To avoid misinformation, the city encourages thecommunity to visit cityofmonrovia.org/COVID19. The city will alsocontinue to post updated information on its social media platforms: Facebook and Twitter.
