The Monrovia Area Partnership (MAP) Team is hosting the 11th Annual Neighborhood Conference, and they are looking for community members to help make it a success.
The MAP Teamis calling on community leaders to get creative and create a centerpiece todecorate the tables at the ceremony. Those looking to participate can stop byCity Hall to pick up a blank canvas that they may decorate as they see fit, however, they are encouraged to incorporate this year’s theme: “Bloom where youare planted.” The deadline to turn in the centerpiece is March 13.
Another wayto get involved is by spreading the words to individuals or organizations whomay be interested in providing a sponsorship donation. In exchange for thedonation, sponsors will receive various advertising opportunities to gaincustomers or educate people about what they do.
Theconference is a free event open to the community. It will be held on Saturday,April 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 925 S. Shamrock Ave.
