The Monrovia League will beholding their monthly meeting Feb. 18 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 122 S.California Ave., Monrovia. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the 19th century women’srights mover and shaker, will be visiting in the form of the RD Players, atroop of historical re-enactors. As a fund raiser the MonroviaLeague will be having a “St. Patrick’s Day Bingo and Baked PotatoBash” on Tuesday, March 3 at 11 a.m. This event will be held at FirstLutheran Church, 1323 S. Magnolia Ave., Monrovia. The public is invited to join forfun, food and games. A $20 donation benefits the Monrovia League’sprojects.
