Southern California Edison Work Will Begin in Front of City Hall in February

BeginningFeb. 3, Southern California Edison (SCE), along with other approved contractors(International Line Builders and Rokstad), will be working in the neighborhoodon and near Ivy Avenue adjacent to City Hall to make improvements to theelectrical grid. The project will upgrade and replace aging undergroundequipment and infrastructure to improve overall circuit reliability.

Due to thenature of this work, there will be two planned outages. Those impacted by theproject and outages should have received public notification and outreach materialfrom SCE and should receive a secondary notification 72 hours prior toscheduled outages.

The durationof the project is expected to last through March 2020.

This scopeof work requires traffic lane and sidewalk closures. Be mindful of traffic control,including traffic detours and posted signage.
