

The choir of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Monrovia will presentthe first Evensong of the new year on Sunday, Jan. 19, at 4 p.m. at the church,122 S. California Ave. at Foothill Blvd. in Monrovia.
The choir, with invited guest singers, will perform music forEvensong in Epiphany led by Director of Music Kent B. Jones. The program willinclude music by Arthur Sullivan, John Ireland, and three selections fromMendelssohn’s “Christus.” The Rev. Neil Tadken will be officiant andcantor.
A freewill offering will be taken, and a wine and cheese receptionwill follow in Guild Hall.
