South Myrtle Avenue to be Closed to Motorists Through Friday

Construction crews will begin to replace the concrete roadway thatwas damaged and removed as a part of an earlier underground utility project. Inorder to facilitate efficient and safe roadwork, the 800 block of South Myrtle,from Walnut to Chestnut Avenues, will be closed to vehicular traffic throughJan. 10.

Traffic detours have been established and clearly marked for themotoring public. Additionally, motorists are advised to drive safely and followall posted detour and construction signage. If possible, drivers are encouragedto use alternate routes.  

The construction work will not affect businesses on the 800 blockof South Myrtle and all businesses will remain open and accessible.
