Makea Difference Day is this Saturday and several projects have been identified. Individualsor groups can register to participate by calling Penny Arroyo, the director ofthe San Gabriel Valley Volunteer Center that organizes the event, at (626)755-1636. Individuals can also sign up on line at the group’swebsite: vcsgv.org. For furtherinformation call Arroyo or refer to the website.
Someof the projects being undertaken this year are repainting the City’s Christmastree fencing, park beautification and clean-up, and installing and replacingsmoke detectors.
