Its official: The circus is in town!
Monrovia Weekly was present for the ribbon cutting ceremony at Circus Vargas, now performing Aug. 15-25 at Santa Anita Park. Under the big top they promise their audience, “two unforgettable hours of nonstop action and adventure.” The theme this year is an ode to a bygone era and what a traditional circus looked like in America.
It is their 50th year after all, so if anyone can pull off this much history and tradition it’s definitely Circus Vargas.
