On Sept. 23, 2000 hundreds of Hollywood stars swarmed to the Rose Bowl Stadium (1001 Rose Bowl Dr.) for the premiere of a sports classic, “Remember the Titans.” Nineteen years later, the movie returns to Pasadena to be displayed on a one of a kind “big screen,” the Rose Bowl jumbotron.
On Saturday, Aug. 10 sit on the Rose Bowl grass on and enjoy the movie with your family and friends. This is the perfect way to spend a summer night. Blankets and lawn chairs are permitted to ensure your comfort during the movie. There will be games, food, and beverage for purchase before the movie begins at 8 p.m.
Unfortunately outside food and beverages are not permitted on the grounds. Also, no animals except for service animals will be permitted. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The event is for all ages. General admission is $20 for people 11 and older, $10 for children 6-10 and children under the age of 5 will be free. Everyone will be subjected to a search upon entry. The event entrance is located at Gate A of the Rose Bowl Stadium. Parking is free in parking Lot F.
