Beginning Monday, June 3 Metro Gold Line riders will need to pay a $3 daily parking fee to leave their vehicles at the Arcadia and Duarte stations.

The fee can be paid at the kiosk—for which you will need to know your license plate number—or via the Metro Parking app which can be downloaded through the Apple and Google Play stores. Use zone 309 for Arcadia and zone 312 for Duarte.

According to Metro, both stations will eventually offer a $59 monthly pass after first analyzing parking occupancy once the paid parking program begins.

Metro has been implementing paid parking lots at busier stations since 2017. According to Metro officials, this was done to “ensure there are always spaces for transit riders.”

Gold Line riders can still find free parking at the parking garage at Sierra Madre Villa Station (149 N. Halstead St., Pasadena, CA 91107).
