The Monrovia Police Department is participating in Autism Awareness Month. Their t-shirts are now available for purchase at the Police Department (140 E. Lime Ave.) and every Friday night in April at the Street Fair.
T-Shirts are available in men’s small-3XL and women’s V-neck in small-2X for $18 per shirt or purchase two shirts for $30. You must pay in cash.
Research shows the importance of recognizing the early signs of autism and seeking early intervention services. Children as young as one can be screened to determine if they are at risk. While every child develops differently, we also know that early treatment improves outcomes – often dramatically.
