The City of Monrovia is excited to present events and activities for the spring season. There will be wine tasting in Old Town Monrovia, egg hunting in Recreation Park and a race to the waterfall at Canyon Park. All are invited to participate in the events taking place throughout town!
Old Town Wine Walk
On April 13, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., the City of Monrovia and the Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board will present the 3rd Annual Old Town Monrovia Wine Walk.
Participants attending this unique event will be invited to stroll through Old Town, explore each business and sample the various wine offerings while enjoying acoustic performances throughout Old Town.
Those who support Old Town Merchants by spending $100 in Old Town in one shopping/dining experience will receive two pre-sale tickets for $35 each, a savings of $10.
To receive the discount, receipts must be presented when purchasing pre-sale tickets from the Community Center, 3 Beauty Bar, Charlie’s House, PrimeLending – Monrovia, Saute Culinary Academy or Sunday’s Old Town Bistro. Tickets can also be purchased online by clicking the link here
Fountain to the Falls
On May 11, at 7 a.m., the City of Monrovia will be hosting the 2019 Fountain to the Falls Run/Walk. The event is a 6.38 mile out-and-back race from the Library Park Fountain to the waterfall at Canyon Park.
Registration is only available on-line through the City of Monrovia website. The race is limited to 325 participants. Registration will be accepted on the day of the event and participants must show identification at check-in.
All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and participation medal. Medals will be awarded to the best time for male and female, and for the first through third place in each age category.
Spring Egg Hunt & Healthy Kids Day
The Annual Spring Egg Hunt & Healthy Kids Day will take place on April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Recreation Park, with registration for the egg hunt beginning at 9 a.m. The community event will feature a full day of fun and activities for the entire family!
