

Pasadena Vice-Mayor Elect, Tyron Hampton, and Made in Dena will host a special event screening of the documentary film, “Pasadena: Exploring Solutions to Reduce Gang Violence” on Feb. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
The film is a much needed 90-minute documentary that sheds light on the dynamics of gang violence in Pasadena. The film contains exclusive interviews with city officials, community members, individuals who have been involved in gang activity, and service providers who deal with this issue on a daily basis. The purpose of the film is to bring people together, create an open dialogue and explore solutions.
Following the film there will be a panel discussion featuring cast from the film and filmmakers including, Executive Producer and Director Steven Sneed, co-producers Jason Hardin and Michael Towns, associate producers Frank Gibbs, Brian Biery, and Thomas Bunn. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage the panel in a community Q-and-A.
