Students in grades 6 to 8 have new opportunity to participate in a fun, non-competitive, learning experience offered through the City of Arcadia’s sports programs. Girls and boys who are interested in playing volleyball are encouraged to participate in the league, regardless of skill-level. Registration is limited and will take place online at ArcadiaCA.gov or in person at the Recreation Office beginning Monday, Feb. 4 and will remain open until all spaces are filled. Practices will be held two times a week after school at each middle school campus. Rotating teams will scrimmage each other at the Dana Gym on Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. The league will run from March 25 through May 24. Transportation to and from games/practices is the responsibility of the participant. For more information please call (626) 574-5113.
