Curious about the world of romance, writing and publishing? To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Arcadia Public Library is presenting an “I (Love) Romance Tea and Talk” featuring author Andrea Bolter. Ms. Bolter has published four novels for Harlequin, including “Her New York Billionaire,” “The Italian’s Runaway Princess,” and her newest, “The Prince’s Cinderella.”
In her own words, “She grew up scribbling in notebooks with a poem here, a snippet of dialogue there, and an essay in between. Studying both creative and news writing in school, the first words Andrea ever got paid to write were procedure manuals for an insurance company. Not too sexy but, hey, she was off and running! Along the way, she landed as a journalist. After hundreds of articles and a couple of awards, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of writing fiction, first by publishing short stories.”
Learn about her path to realizing her dream and enjoy the story behind the stories at this free event on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., in the Cay Mortenson Auditorium of the Arcadia Public Library. Light refreshments will be provided.
