California Retired Teachers’ Association #71 (CalRTA #71) will welcome local superintendents to speak at their luncheon meeting Friday, Feb. 8, at the Arcadia Senior Center (County Park), 405 South Santa Anita Ave. The center is next to the Lawn Bowling Greens. Parking is available. The meeting will begin at 11:30 am. For reservations, please call John Gera at (626) 286-0714 by Feb. 1. The cost of the luncheon for members and guests is $13. If paying at the door, the cost is $14.
On the program, local superintendents will update the retired teachers on innovations and activities in their school districts (SD). Speaking at the event is: Dr. Denise Jaramillo from Alhambra USD, Dr. Edward Zuniga from El Monte Union H.S. District, Dr. Maribel Garcia from El Monte City SD, Mr. Alejandro Ruvalcabo from Rosemead SD, and Lynn Bulgin fromValle Lindo USD.
Membership in the California Retired Teachers’ Association (CalRTA) is open to all retired educators, as well as to current educators and to any others interested in joining this active group.
