Award-winning music program LoveBug & Me, known for their interactive classes geared towards children ages zero to four, has just opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Pasadena, CA. The new space is located at 1357 N. Hill Ave. and takes over former The Cradle Company storefront, where LoveBug & Me has hosted their parent and child music classes for more than four years. The studio, designed to stimulate learning, play, and movement activities, boasts an upscale backdrop of colorful rugs, flowing drapes, high ceilings, and natural lighting. The comfortable, yet whimsical classroom will also serve as a concert and family event venue with an on-site free parking.

Owner, Mary Arden Gorman, says, “It was a natural transition for us. After many years of offering our music classes at others’ locations, we now have a dedicated home.”

LoveBug & Me will continue to offer their acclaimed classes at more than ten other locations, including nearby San Marino, Silver Lake and Sherman Oaks. The new year’s schedule begins Jan. 14 with a 10-week music series called “The Story Garden.” This winter series brings timeless children books, such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Dr. Seuss classics, to life through traditional kids songs, new original music, and some grown-ups’ all-time favorites. Each weekly class is 45 minutes long and features myriad instruments, a larger-than-life jumbo drum, parachutes, and the beloved LoveBug mascot puppet. Every class is carefully crafted to benefit children’s development and enhance their communication as well as their fine and gross motor skills. As Gorman says, “We believe in a holistic approach through creative, emotional, physical, musical and social play. We plant the seeds for future success in math, science, language and creative arts… all while having fun!”
