Each faces life in prison without possibility of parole

By Terry Miller

Four suspected Duarte gang members were convicted Wednesday of conspiracy to commit murder and other charges in connection with three homicides and two attempted homicides that occurred in a two-month period in Pasadena as a result of what authorities believe was a gang feud.

Isaiah Daniels, 25; Pernell Barnes, 21; Charod Robinson, 29; and Derion Lee, 35, faced one charge of conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting at an inhabited dwelling. Lee faced one additional count of murder. A jury found them guilty on Dec. 26, 2018. They face life in prison without the possibility of parole. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 7 but is likely to get continued, according to Richard Santiago, public information officer with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
