City Manager Oliver Chi noted in his Update this week announced that a cannabis testing lab was planning to open in the 1000 block of South Magnolia. LB PharmLabs has received it final State regulatory approvals needed to open the testing facility. According to the firm they provide the “cannabis industry with laboratory testing and analytic services to ensure consumers have access to safe medicine. Through laboratory testing, [the company] ensure[s] safe medicine for the cannabis community by testing for contaminants that may result from the growth, extraction and packaging processes.”
It should be noted that this is a testing facility only not a cannabis sales site.
