Maria “Ria” Michael 1936-2018. Made her journey home to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 2, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Alan Michael, whom she met at Monrovia High School and married following graduation in 1954. Their love story continued for 63 years. Ria is also survived by her 4 children (Mindy Len, Kim Javier, Neal Michael and Lisa Michael), 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a brother (William Straub). She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend to many. A Celebration of Ria’s life will be held on March 17, 2018 at Sierra Grace Fellowship (1260 Wesley Lane, Auburn) at 11:00 a.m. John 11:25: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die” and she believed.
