Suspect is a black male, 6’-0”/thin build, short black straight hair, approximately 30 to 40 years old
On Thursday, October 7, 2017, at approximately 7:45 a.m., a resident told police he was awakened by noises and then confronted the suspect in his living room in the 100 block of North Mar Vista Avenue. The suspect ordered the resident back into his bedroom by gesturing as if he was armed. The suspect fled in an unknown direction with items taken from the residence.
The suspect appears to have entered the residence through an unlocked window. The residents were not injured during the incident. No additional information is being released at this time as the investigation is on-going.
