At about 4:07 p.m. officers responded to the 00 block of E. Montecito Ave., to investigate a reported vandalism. It appears that unknown person(s) broke several window panes and a damaged screen door protector.
July 19
Officers made contact with two male subjects who were riding a bicycle and skateboard on the roadway. During the contact, it was revealed that the subjects were in possession of hypodermic needles. The subjects were arrested, booked and cited at the Sierra Madre Police Department.
July 20
At approximately 5:50 a.m., officers responded to Bethany Church regarding suspects breaking into a donation bin. A suspect was arrested and transported to the Pasadena jail.
At about 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Esperanza Ave., regarding a theft of a bicycle report. The victim reported that his red Cannondale M700 was taken from his open garage earlier that evening sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. by an unknown person(s).
July 22
Unknown suspect(s) entered the rear yard through an unlocked gate and entered the home by removing a screen and smashing a window in the 200 block of S. Canon Ave. The suspect(s) ransacked two rooms placing items in pillow cases, then exited the residence at the same point of entry in an unknown direction.
