The Friends of the Monrovia Public Library are holding their Spring Book Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20. They will not only have books, but there will also be DVDs, music CDs, and more.
All proceeds from the book sale benefit the library and help fund the programs the Library sponsors, such as family concerts, Night Owl Storytime, teen movies, and the Summer Reading Program.
There will be a special members-only sale on Thursday, May 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. during the annual Friends Member Meeting. Regular sale hours are Friday, May 19, from 12 to 5 p.m., and Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. There will be the much anticipated $5 bag sale from 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday only.
The sale will take place in the Library’s Community Room. Anyone can join the Friends of the Monrovia Public Library and help support library services in the community. Just visit the Friends of the Monrovia Library website: www.friendsofmonroviapubliclibrary.org, or drop by the library for an application and to learn more.
