Easter Bunny Hops into Monrovia on April 15 … Twice!

Monrovia’s annual Spring Egg Hunt and Healthy Kids day will see the rabbit’s first appearance. The Hunt and Fair will be held in Recreation Park with registration for the various hunts will begin at 9:45 a.m. A special feature of the day will be the appearance of the Easter Bunny.

Specific age groups from newborn up to 2 starting at 10:10 a.m. and subsequent age groups starting every 15 minutes thereafter, i.e. the 2 years olds at 10:25 a.m. and those age 3 at 10:40 a.m. and so on through the 6 year olds.

There will be a full day of fun and activities for the entire family! These activities will include: arts & crafts, face painting, carnival games, petting zoo, toddler activities, and tours of the Monrovia Historical Museum, food trucks will also be on hand. And, of course the Monrovia Reads will be there with a free book for children of all ages.

The Spring Egg Hunt Premier Sponsor this year is Wendy’s Hamburgers. Other key event partners are: Diane Balsamo & Larry Davis of Prime Lending, the Sierra Family of Dealerships, Healthcare Partners and Nikki Felix of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

Later from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. the Bunny will be in Library Park for another photo op. This free program is being offered by the Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board.
