This year is the fourth annual Chloe’s Walk event which will be held at Sierra Madre memorial park this Saturday, October 1 starting 10am.
The event was started by some family members to raise awareness and collect donations to support Operation Smile when our child Chloe was born with a cleft lip and palate. Since then, the parents have kept it going as an annual event collecting donations supporting Operation Smile.
For the first time, a local doctor who has participated in 40 missions with Operation Smile will be in attendance.
Also, there will be four additional families who have children born with a cleft lip and palate.
The goal is to raise awareness for this very common birth defect which affects millions of children around the world. Also to raise donations in support of the work Operation Smile is doing around the world to assist these children in need.
