On Saturday, Oct. 1, the LA County Arboretum will feature a collection of 30 bird-inspired automobiles, including Thunderbirds, Hawks, Bluebirds, and more.
The cars will be spread throughout the garden with the owners and drivers on hand to share the cars unique stories.
Fun for all ages, the day-long event (from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) will feature kids’ activities including: a car-themed scavenger hunt, nature crafts, live raptors, and a photo opportunity behind the wheel of a miniature car.
Admission ranges from $9 to $4; free for Arboretum members. The LA Country Arboretum and Botanic Garden is located at 301 N. Baldwin Ave. in Arcadia. For more information, call (626) 821-3222 or visit www.Arboretum.org.
